1st = One extra hit per life, 2nd = Hold your breath longer, 3rd = Increased acceleration, 4th = Rings earned are x2 in normal stages, 5th = Rings earned are x2 everywhere, 6th = Higher jumps, 7th = Super Sonic enabled (must have 100 rings)
